Alexandra Lord is an ecoscenographer. She builds environments and constructs characters that propose alternative realities, encouraging audiences to believe in change. She does this work through design as well as community engagement, inspiring us to imagine and act for a climate positive future.
Alexandra Lord studied costume and set design in the bilingual program at The National Theatre School of Canada. She is also a graduate of the Soulpepper Theatre Company Academy, where she specialized in dramaturgical scenography. She has worked across Canada professionally for 7 years in theatre, dance, musical theatre, film, television and commercials.
Alexandra Lord is a founding member of Triga Creative. Triga has been expanding from performance design into event design as well as consulting on interior and architectural design all while contributing to the emerging field of sustainable design through hosting Global Eco-Design Charrettes, in partnership with The Centre for Sustainable Practice in the Arts.
